JALLENNew Year's Resolutions?
One of the disagreeable incidents of this pulmonary fibrosis is oxygen deprivation which among other consequences seems to exacerbate memory loss. I have been struggling more and more with memory issues.
I’ve never had an excellent memory, but I have had more and more problems recently. Part of it might be aging, of course.
I have been reviewing my very extensive collection of quotes, for old times sake, to recall some of the “oldies but goodies” that I have long enjoyed. I ran into one this weekend that has promise for easing my problems with declining memory.
It is a quote from Mark Twain. “If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.”
As much as I hate to do it, it seems like it will be worth a try.
I’m giving up lying. That way I don't have to remember anything. Easy!

Horking is an unpleasant but effective way to lose weight.

What I said, is sort of an "in joke."
A musician friend of mine wrote and performed the theme song for a kids' TV show. He used to say that he never caught his music on TV, because on Saturday mornings he usually didn't finish throwing up until 10:30.
Those were comments that he made from the stage when he performed at some of the local bars that featured live music.
