Is MoneyWorks still the preferred financial software for Apple OS?

I just need to view and download financial data from accounts. No check writing or bill paying duties needed. Thanks.

I have never heard of MoneyWorks. I use a product called "MoneyDance" and am very happy to recommend it. It does do downloads

It looks like MoneyWorks, starting at $250.00, is overkill for what you want.

Check architect's recommendation, MoneyDance.

Yes they do. It was a very inferior product when I used it years ago. It is much watered down from its Microsoft cousin. I have heard they have made improvements over the years, but I haven't tried it recently.

I think Quicken for the Mac has come a long way - because it needed to. I still run the Windows version under Parallels on my iMac and MacBook Pro. It runs flawlessly. At some point the Mac version will catch up. When you buy the program, it comes with both versions.
