Another one for JRE. I usually listen to specific ones, but a couple months ago I was like hey I’ll go to episode 1 and slowly listen to em all haha. On Episode 45 with Tom Green at the moment.

TMatsHaven’t finished it, but today I’ve been listening to Shawn Ryan talking to Erik Prince, founder of private military company Blackwater. They are primarily talking about the attempted assassination of President Trump. They were talking about the decline in competency of of the USSS as evidenced by the colossal failure in Pennsylvania and whether or not DEI is a large factor.
Prince brought up the attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi in 2012, to illustrate the fact that the decline didn’t just happen. “Do you know how many rounds the Diplomatic Security Service officers discharged in defense of the compound and Ambassador Christopher Stevens?”
Ryan replied, “Well I’ve heard, zero.”
“Zero,” Prince confirmed.

Same here. I can read faster than listening to someone talk.
But can you read while driving, mowing, mopping, folding clothes, doing the dishes, etc.?

That's typically when I listen to podcasts and audiobooks: while driving or doing chores.
I like listening to music while I drive. I’m not familiar with any of the other things you mentioned.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

GascanTMats,
You and I share at least 50% appreciation for similar podcasts... In the genre you and I share, I would recommend a couple more for you to try:
Cleared Hot Podcast (with Retired Navy Seal, Andy Stumpf - Got his podcasting start on The Joe Rogan Podcast)
The Adam Carolla Show (I don't think he needs any introduction)

redwood25I listen to a few podcasts, but none of them have anything to do with politics.

Acknowledged, I’m certainly familiar with Andy Stumpf since he’s a frequent visitor on Rogan; I’ll check out his show. I’ve listened to a bit of Carolla, but it didn’t bite hard.
