My paternal grandfather served in the Army during WW2, my father served in Korea and my brother served during Viet Nam. I would have served but for health restrictions.

Very nice, a most generous gift. The great thing about this pistol is that it's got enough wear on it so that you don't feel the need to coddle it. It would make a great carry piece.

I received the 228 today!

It is in excellent condition and I can't wait to shoot it tomorrow. I want to express my gratitude and appreciation to 12131 for his generosity.
