1lowlifeCan anyone use a free ATT DSL WIFI extender?
Can anyone use an ATT WIFI extender?
I'm tired of it sitting on my desk.
AT&T Smart Wi-Fi Extender - AirTies 4920 - I used the ATT Smart Home app to connect it, but here is the guide.
AT&T Smart WiFi Extender Simple Guide | ATT180180946 I used it for ATT DSL and now have ATT fiber, it is not compatible with my fiber router.
Not sure if it would work with any other carrier.
Post I'll take in the thread and email me your name and shipping address, I'll cover shipping.

UnishotI’m in Texas too, and have AT&T Internet service. I was going to research and get an extender as I do not have very good Internet service in my garage/shop. It drops out constantly or is very, very slow. I would love the opportunity to see if this works for me!
Email is in my profile.
Thanks you or your generosity, God bless and happy new year.

V-TailI too, have one of these, available to a SIGforum member who needs it.
Be aware, in order to use it, you need to have AT&T cell service, and you also need a broadband internet connection. The internet connection does not need to be AT&T, but the femtocell device will only work for cell phones that have AT&T service. You need to register each cell phone that will connect to this device. I don't remember for sure, but I believe there's a limit -- I think it's ten -- to the number of cell phones that can be registered to connect.
If you meet all of AT&T's requirements, it does provide very good service. There are only a couple of spots on Our Little Airport that get a usable signal from AT&T towers, I had no cell service at all in my hangar office until I got this device. Once it was connected and my cell phone was registered to it, I had excellent service.
