Any volleyball scenes?
No, but they gave out a lot of back rubs, I hear.

I knew nothing about the movie except that it was another in a long line of Oscar nominated movies that I had not seen and likely wouldn’t. Then I read Sam Elliot’s take on the movie and came to the realization that this was an especially steamy pile of dog shit (speaking of dogs), and I was comfortable never hearing another word about it.

I watched the entire video monkey posted. Some great tid bits on Sam in there. He didn't watch but doesn't like Yellowstone. Too much like Dallas to him. Some guy paid him 15 grand for the hat he wore in Tombstone. He seemed astonished someone would do that. Disappointed Clint never hired him to work for him. Worth the watch.

Side note, I like John Goodman better at that weight. I'm sure he feels better where he is, and will probably live longer, but nope, give me the slightly overweight version as far as an interesting character on screen.

I like that interview with Elliott. Just a regular dude that says shit and fuck like most all of use do, and it doesn't seem over the top. Just a couple of dudes talking.

That movie was garbage. Gay agenda getting thrown in our faces from every angle. Spot on Sam.

To my mind, there is something just, well, odd, about Mr Cumberbatch. He puts me in mind of Messrs Zucherberg and Musk. Just, well, something not quite right.

Always liked Sam Elliot from the biker with Cher to his westerns. Plus he’s married to Katharine Ross. Too bad their daughter seems off.
