He was not ignored. He was processed under the authority of more than 100 years of practice annunciated in the Biden Rule, no Supreme Court nominations in a Presidential election year.

Why would the President want to recycle Obama’s pick, he’s not a centrist, he’s against the 2nd amendment. Sorry but no, there are far better Justices than him in contention for nomination when Yoda’s sister croaks.
