Are any of you creeped out by cats? I surely am. I don't hate them or anything, I am just uncomfortable around them.
Don't know why, though. Doesn't seem to make any sense.

I am a longtime cat owner and from time to time, my cats have made me uncomfortable. Any animal so fully capable of being a laser focused apex predator can be creepy.

Head down to the local animal shelter today or an adoption drive at any large pet store in your area, and they are usually running them on weekends, and adopt a couple of kittens or young adolescent kittehs.

They will probably already be neutered or spayed, up to date on their shots and tested for feline leukemia.

Following giving them love and a safe home, I GUARANTEE that you will no longer be “creeped out” by these wonderful animals.

They are fun, fascinating, curious, playful and very loving (in their own endearing cat-like way of course)!

I generally like male cats, all of the female cats I have been around are El Diablo

Yondu is the exception, she might be about 4 pounds.

I’m not creeped out by them but I’m not a fan when they are feral. Feral cats kill an obscenely large number of native species, mainly because they are both incredible hunters and they are non-native in the US. As long as they are broke pets, I have no problem with them.

Well, just remember; if your cat was a big as your dog, it would eat you.

I've been feeding several feral on my friends property. A couple next door broke up and moved out, leaving 3 house cats behind. One adopted the people across the street and has a new family. I feed a beautiful male gold tiger kitty. He is such a beautiful color scheme and, he has to be the best good natured cat I have ever been around. He will even roll over for tummy rubs and never claws or bites. He loves being pet. Huge gold eyes, such a beautiful cat and he takes to all people. For now he has to sleep on the front porch but, I will contact a lady who will either give him or find him a home. He is my favorite, best cat friend ever. He will make someone a excellent pet friend.

Our current roster is 3 cats and 3 dogs.
All are rescues (5 were dumped and 1 was given up for adoption.)

Why would anyone be creeped out by this? Smile

Perhaps because they're apex predators with mindsets entirely foreign to those of human beings?
