Yeah, that cruise is not going to be allowed to dock because the tourists are not straight.

You'd think somebody, somewhere, whether the organizers/promoters of the cruise, or the crew or captain of the ship, would have checked. If anybody had, they should have known this isn't going to fly in a Muslim-ruled country and bypassed Turkey to start with.

It would have been interesting if Turkey had let them in.

THEN administered their laws to any illegal behaviour.

You know darn well these entitled jackwagons would not have respected cultural norms.

Have a couple dozen of them locked up in a 3rd world craphold crying for their ACLU reps. Crying that Turkey isn't treating them like they are 'special.'

I think they should stop anyway. Unboard and put on an impromptu drag show for the locals. Sure it would be well received. Wink

Because leftists in general are delusional enough to think the whole world thinks like them except for MAGA Roll Eyes . Years ago, I argued with a leftist family member who emphatically stated that 1 out of 4 humans are gay (he also thought 30% of the U.S. was black). Moron.

On the surface, with this issue, yes. But it is 95% muslim as a nation. Even though Turkey has officially separated church and state for almost 100 years, and many of their population are cultural muslims, rather than religious, the things I have read indicate that non-muslims face discrimination there.

Given the deep religious symbolism of the rainbow in Judeo-Christianity, I don't think the alphabet movement's co-opting of this symbol was an accident. It is a deliberate and evil affront.

Or start a gay pride parade. That'll show them Turks, for sure.

With the SCOTUS decision to protect women's college sports, there has been a flurry of articles. One, had a paragraph that shocked me and it said 44 of 50 states had provisions for changing the sex on your birth certificate. I didn't think that more than 45% to 50% could possibly be true so I began searching.

It turns out to be correct that 44 is an accurate number and only Texas, Florida, Kansas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Montana are where I thought 50% to 55% of the country would be. Other states requirements are all over the map from simple self-attestation to physician's letter to court order. Additionally, 16 states allow the birth certificate to have gender as Male (M), Female (F), or a non-binary "X" designation.

I'm also a bit perplexed by this as well. Without naming names, I would have bet at least eight other states would have done the same as Texas.

What else are these States allowing to be changed on birth certificates?

In SC you have to file a petition with the court and submit a fee. It's treated as something based on your preference. The left has spent decades establishing gender as something determined by an individual's feelings.

Gentlemen, errors are made on birth certificates - same as any other document.

I’m sure every state has a means of getting a gender changed, in one way or another.

And perfectly illustrated in your usage of the word “gender” rather than sex.

When we use the verbiage in the ways that they’ve changed, we are agreeing to help the re-frame reality, gentlemen. I fundamentally disagree with the concept of “gender” in the same way the only time you will see me capitalize “Black people” is if it’s the start of a sentence.
