I imagine a jury having the above weapon pointed at them in court suddenly might not say “that’s just a pellet gun”. Personally, I’m not going to take the time to try and decide if what is being pointed at me or my family is a firearm, a pellet gun, or a realistic toy. If it isn’t immediately apparent that it is not something that can kill or even disfigure, all bets are off.

Seems to me the hospital ought to ask the newborn.

A couple years ago I went for a routine visit and was handed a clip board that wanted to know what gender I wanted to be identified as and a bunch of other nonsense. When called back to the nurses station I handed the clipboard back to the nurse blank. She said it was some Government mandate they just started, and I just flat out told her if people would not participate in these silly games it would all go away, and I would not play their game.
