Children’s toy store Build-a-Bear is selling RuPaul-themed drag queen teddies in a supposedly adults-only section of its website dubbed the ‘Bear Cave’.
The RuPaul Bear Gift Set features a teddy wearing a blonde wig, the garish lipstick and eyeshadow synonymous with the drag scene, with a gold sequin dress and heels.
Drag queens have become a key battleground in the Western culture wars in recent years, as leftist activists increasingly insist that it is vital to expose children to often highly-sexualised drag performances from the cradle to college, in venues including schools and public libraries.
RuPaul Charles, 62, is perhaps the most recognizable drag queen worldwide, with his RuPaul’s Drag Race television show spawning multiple spin-offs and hosting the likes of Justin Trudeau, who used an appearance on its Canadian iteration to promote diversity and mass migration.
Build-a-Bear’s decision to partner with the drag queen comes at a time when conservatives are increasingly pushing back against woke corporations pushing 2SLGBTQI+ content. Bud Light, for example, has cost its parent company billions with an “inclusive” campaign centered on transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, while Lego has earned parents’ ire with a campaign promoting various gender identities and adult concepts such as “identify[ing] as pansexual” on social media.
Build-a-Bear’s drag queen teddy is not aimed at children, being sold on an adults-only section of its website most parents are likely unaware of, dubiously titled ‘The Bear Cave’.
The Bear Cave is easily accessible from Build-a-Bear’s main website, however, with potential customers merely having to click its logo at the top of the site to be taken to a page informing them that “[t]he Bear Cave™ is filled with unexpected collabs and unique plush gifts, intended for shoppers 18 and older” and inviting them to click a ‘Continue’ button if they wish to proceed.
Much of the content in the ‘Cave’ actually seems likely to appeal to minors, including bears based on the Star Wars, DC Comics, Marvel franchises, and children’s movie The Night Before Christmas.
“Mama Ru makes her debut on the Build-A-Bear mainstage in the form of the first-ever RuPaul Bear!” the Bear Cave declares proudly of its RuPaul offering, in language which appears to imply further drag queen teddies are on the way.
“Give our ultra cute RuPaul gifts to surprise any of your friends obsessed with the hit franchise. And remember — if you can’t love yourself, how are you gonna love somebody else?” it adds.
Build-a-Bear was founded and remains headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, with annual revenue in excess of $350 million, as well as employing over 5,000 staff. It’s founder, Maxine Clark, is a Democratic Party donor and sits on the board of the globalist ‘New America’ pressure group, as well as on the board of U.S. state media entity, PBS. New America’s funding comes predominantly from the Ford Foundation, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, the U.S. State Department (aka public tax dollars), as well as prospective Ron DeSantis backer Reid Hoffman.

I'm curious about something. In all of this trans talk, it seems to really be all about Man>Trans>Woman. Sports, bathrooms, locker rooms, positions normally for women (woman of the year, etc). Men who identify as woman wanting access to all of the previously noted.
I don't recall seeing any discussion or angst around a Woman>trans>Man wanting to be in Men's sports, bathrooms, locker rooms, etc. I don't recall seeing a Woman>trans>Man getting a Man of the Year award in anything. Granted most Men's organizations are already forced to accept women.
Anyone else notice that?
I wonder if the Girl Scouts will be forced to accept Trans girls the same way the Boy Scouts were forced to accept girls.

Washington House Passes Bill Allowing No Parental Notification Of Runaways If Child Seeking Abortion, Sex Change

Democrats in Washington state have passed a new law that would allow shelters that take in runaway children to not notify the parents if the child is seeking sex change procedures or an abortion.
The bill, which passed the Democrat-controlled House on Wednesday by a vote of 57-39, had previously passed in the state Senate, meaning it could soon head to the desk of Democratic Gov. Jay Inslee. Before that, the state Senate needs to vote on an amendment that the House added.
The bill adds text to Washington state law meaning that “a minor is seeking or receiving protected health care services” including “gender-affirming care” and “reproductive health care” can be a “compelling reason” for shelters to not notify parents, but instead notify the Washington Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF). An amendment added in the House gives the DCYF the ability to make the decision whether or not to contact the parents of the runaway child.
“Therefore, the legislature intends to remove barriers to accessing temporary, licensed shelter accommodations for youth seeking certain protected health care services,” the bill reads.
The bill was sponsored by state Sen. Marko Liias, a Democrat who represents an area just north of Seattle and is co-chair of the LGBTQ caucus. “This legislation ensures that our trans youth have safe options and access to secure, stable shelter when they may not be welcome at home,” Liias claimed.
Republicans at the state House, who all voted against the bill, said that it represented a huge erosion of parental rights.
“These are pre-political rights upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court multiple times. The due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment secures the rights this bill seeks to eliminate. The state has no legitimate authority to get between moms and dads – who are providing a safe home – and their children. Period,” said Rep. Travis Couture (R-Allyn).
Rep. Jim Walsh, a Republican from Aberdeen, said the bill was an “attack on parents’ rights and families.”
“Among its many flaws, the bill assumes families that don’t ‘affirm’ a child’s short-term desires are being abusive. Wrong! Sometimes love requires parents to not affirm their child’s whims. Loving parents guide their children as they grow. Sometimes that means saying ‘no,’” he said.
Democrats in Washington, like other blue states, have continued to push to enshrine into law access to sex change surgeries and abortion, as Republicans in other states have moved to ban the life-altering procedures for minors.
More insanity - this bill also mentions gender affirmation as being a reason not to notify parents of their minor child's whereabouts.
There is another bill circulating in WA that says the State will not recognize other State's laws if they aren't gender affirming - so along with the above, kids (minor children) could potentially flee to WA State to be sheltered and hidden from their parents by the State Government.

This is beyond cruelty to the parents. If your child is missing you would not know if they were dead or alive, and eventually they may be returned mutilated. Here is another article that has a little more detail.
