I have the paid version of Amazon Music. $79/year as I recall. It has a nice feature: if you hear a piece that you enjoy you can “Like” it by clicking the ‘thumps-up’ button in the smartphone app. Among the playlists offered is “My Likes and More”, which produces a random selection of pieces that you’ve “Liked”, mixed in with other pieces that Amazon thinks are similar. While pieces that you’ve actually “Liked” are playing, the ‘thumps-up’ button is displayed with a blue color, to alert you to the fact that you’d previously “Liked” it. For a long time that worked wonderfully well. I’ve “Liked” hundreds of selections, so that playlist was extensive. It was my go-to playlist. But a few weeks ago that changed. For one thing, the ‘thumps-up’ button no longer turned blue while previously “Liked” pieces were playing. So I “Liked” ‘em again, not knowing if that gave extra weight to those pieces. Furthermore, it seems to me that nowadays the “My Likes and More” playlist mainly produces recent “Likes”, not the hundreds of pieces that I’ve “Liked” over the years. Have any of you seen this effect? I’m really disappointed by the degradation of this previously excellent feature. Serious about crackers

I've had similar frustration - seems like it will play more "More" than "Likes". Also frustrating to pick a particular artist play list, will cycle through several songs or an album and the suddenly I'm listening to some random shit that the AMZN bots thinks is closely similar. No, for $79 let me pick rather than pushing content on me! You only have integrity once. - imprezaguy02

Woo hoo! Every morning I check for iPhone app updates. This morning there was an update for Amazon Music. After that update it’s working in the good old way. Very glad for that! This message has been edited. Last edited by: Pipe Smoker, Serious about crackers

Yes, sooo glad for that! Listening to “My Likes” now. Sunday is always a bad day for music on my two classical music FM apps: KUSC and WQXR. Serious about crackers
