Get my pies outta the oven! |
Yesterday I open up Facebook and see this 2 paragraph rant from this girl I've known for a long time, we even used to to to the same church together. She's always leaned liberal and her mom (which I think is the issue here) is an insane lib. What makes no sense is that they both are pro-life types and Christians, but they both support only Democrats. She chose the BIRTHDAY of our great country to spout off some complete bullshit about how we all need to watch our white privilege and how this country is still such an awful, hateful racist place to be and how black people are so downtrodden and we white people really need to acknowledge that and do something about fixing that. WTF? I know for a fact that both of us grew up in very middle-class surroundings and neither of our parents had much money, but we did the best we could. Where is this "white privilege" shit coming from? Why are white liberals so guilty and why do they hate America? I just don't understand this mindset. AT ALL. The more I thought about what she wrote, the angrier I got. I ended up not only un-friending her on Facebook, I blocked her. She can kiss my ass with that attitude.

If you're looking for a plausible explanation, one doesn't exist. Ultra liberalism truly is a mental disorder and nothing will change that. All you can do is totally ignore them and move on. It's not just the liberals. I've blocked several Anti-Trumpers who were supposedly very conservative. I get tired of that noise. Here's to the sunny slopes of long ago.

They want a socialist/communist utopia. The only way to achieve that in a country with founding documents establishing the opposite is to destroy that country and rebuild it as a socialist utopia. They are in the process of destroying the country on multiple fronts. They are flooding the population, indoctrinating the population, disarming the population, diluting the culture, softening morals, dividing the population against itself and centralizing power. No bueno because they are doing it progressively so most do not see the pattern. You’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier

In a country that elected a black Alinsky socialist for two terms. Yeah, just magically we turned overwhelmingly racist overnight

I believe it's not only a mental issue but a spiritual issue as well. Read Ephesians 6:10-12 if you want to know the forces influencing people. I know lots of people that are Christians but vote Democrat and see no conflict between their faith and voting for someone that's supports abortion, promotes hatred and disunity along with being at enmity or war with God. Plus many people have been completely manipulated and brainwashed by the education system and liberal news media to the point they hate the country, hate themselves, and most importantly lack or fail to exercise critical thinking skills. Just imagine how backwards thinking people have become to defend and promote lawlessness and at the same time outraged at President Trump for having the courage to finally enforce immigration law.

I had a discussion/debate over the weekend with some friends, some acquaintances, and a few strangers this past weekend. Long story short, we were talking about a video game we've all played for years and where the story of the game was going. One of the topics was genocide, and whether one character in the game viewed what they were doing as such. There was alot of evidence both ways, and for the most part the talk was about a video game, and only about the video game. Eventually, however, one person took it real-world (as often happens) and it all went to hell. Basically, it came down to the statement: "I mean, respectfully, someone who works for a colonial institution (I.e., us military) isn't really one to comment on the semantics of genocide." It all went to hell from there, ruined what was a fun debate, and now, a week later, what was a full group of people with shared interests for the most part won't talk to each other. I don't know most of their political leanings, but it's the symptom of a disease either way. It seems many are utterly incapable of not causing conflict. ---------- The first 100 people to make it out alive...get to live.

I don't get it, either. Never have. I'm either a liberal or a libertarian, depending upon your definitions/perspectives. I'm patriotic, but not "American flag tattooed on my biceps" patriotic. I love my country, but she's not perfect and she can be wrong. But, right or wrong, she's my country and I love her. So, yeah: I don't get it.
That's not the way I go about it. I calmly, steadily, annoyingly destroy their positions, piece-by-piece, until they realize they have nothing left and unfriend me out of frustration (And block, in the case of one leftist.) I just watched "Hillary's America" by D'Souza. I learned some things. I assume that basically everything is factual except for obvious opinions. Some things were 'reenacted' but again, assume that nothing was really misrepresented, even if some artistic liberty was taken. That said, I wonder, if the facts are indisputable, how they would feel about being progressives after watching it. If they have any integrity and intelligence, I think the film should give them pause. Otherwise, they are lost causes. "Wrong does not cease to be wrong because the majority share in it." It's not you, it's me. |
I don’t get it either. It’s usually the same people who are secretly hoping the country fails to teach us all a lesson somehow. It does make me sad when people talk like that because there’s really no reason for it. Everyone struggles, even white people.

It would make no difference to them whatsoever. The current liberal/progressive philosophy makes as much sense as hoping the plane you're flying in crashes, because you don't like the pilot. ------------------------------------------------ "It's hard to imagine a more stupid or dangerous way of making decisions, than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong." I believe in the principle of Due Process |
Blame America First! That has been the underlying foundation of God Damned Commie foreign policy for nearly 70 years. Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

No double standards |
And the inevitable destiation of that "pattern" will be dystopia, an abyss, the exact opposite of what they promise. The founding principles of America are the greatest barrier to self-serving liberals taking control of the entire population. And sadly, too many are ignorant or apathetic of what the few are really doing. "Liberty lies in the hearts of men and women. When it dies there, no constitution, no law, no court can save it....While it lies there, it needs no constitution, no law, no court to save it" - Judge Learned Hand, May 1944

Yep, the arrogance in play here is astounding. They NEVER are wrong. California and Chicago etc are screwed up because they are blocked by conservatives or the Constitution from doing even MORE. There is always an elusive law or mindset that keeps society from being perfect. Everything is done based on “feelings” or “we have to do something”, with no thought as to the outcome, or acceptance of the bad outcome when it inevitably occurs.
