Yep, seems like click bait but since I'm here...
As a youngster watching Wild Kingdom I remember Marlin Perkins announcing that Jim was going to jump into a river and wrestle a crock, or a gator, or an anaconda. My father and I used to wonder why Marlin didn't jump in and help out? Well, dad and I really did know why

ZSMICHAELYeah. Marlin always had the monotone voice. It looks like the Croc is going to tear the head off that animal. Better coral it Jim. All delivered without emotion. He could have done Geritol commercials. And now a message from Hartz Mountain. Snoooze some more. The program really was a Big Snoozer. My Dad liked that show.
