I would be remiss if I didn't share my deepest sorrow and hurt for the sudden passing of my best buddy & uncle Denny Christian yesterday. I already miss my "Coke & a Smoke" Pal and Aunt Jo so deeply. Denny, a 20 years sober, kind and gentle man lost his wife to cancer a year ago, and his mother (my grandma) last month. He took his life after falling off the wagon a week ago. I'm hurt, very hurt.

However, with each passing sorrow is a new day of joy on the horizon.

We very happily and proudly introduce you to Taylor. Born this Good Friday, April 14th, 2017 at 7:17 AM. Our beautiful girl weighs 6lbs, 7oz's and 19.5" long. She is GORGEOUS! Mom is in recovery and we will get to see her soon. Baby was completely bread and came via C-Section very quickly, but both are well.

Thank you, Jesus, for such an amazing little girl, wife and family. My wife and I have endured some very painful trials and tribulations this past 24 months as we stand together to fight for our children, loss of some very loved family members and many changes in our lives. Today, is just an amazing day, and hope it is for you all is well. Cheers, from the KHolm family.

I believe in God, and in life hereafter. I believe you can be with your friends and family forever, and enjoy all those moments.

Mixed emotions are some of the roughest things to live through. Sad on one hand, joyful in the other.

Good for you that you have focused on the good side.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Congrats Dad! Cool

T-minus 29 days for us, baby #2 due to arrive around May 12th.

That Psalm is a favorite of mine and one that is incorporated into a song by the group Jesus Culture that our church does occasionally:

quote:

"Your Love Never Fails"

Nothing can separate
Even if I ran away
Your love never fails

I know I still make mistakes
But You have new mercies for me everyday
Your love never fails

You stay the same through the ages
Your love never changes
There maybe pain in the night but joy comes in the morning

And when the oceans rage
I don't have to be afraid
Because I know that You love me

Your love never fails

The wind is strong and the water's deep
But I'm not alone here in these open seas
Cause Your love never fails

The chasm is far too wide
I never thought I'd reach the other side
But Your love never fails

You make, all things, work together for my good.

Lord Bless you!

Two things bring me to tears. The unconditional Love of God,the service of the United States Military, past, present, and future.

I would rather meet

than a hollywood star!
