ArtieSNot only have I never twerked. To my knowledge, I have never been present at a location where a twerk happened.
Were I to attempt a twerk, a number of unfortunate events would be likely, leading to life-altering events:
1. The current stable, stately, and relatively safe procession of the earth around the sun would be disturbed.
2. The great bodies of water would be displaced from their historic basins.
3. Fault lines, heretofore unknown, would open.
4. Likewise, volcanoes.
5. There would be a great disturbance in the force.
6. I would become a cripple, disconnecting the essential connections between upper and lower body.
7. My children would disown me.
8. The Beautiful Girl would hit me with an axe.
These are only the likely and predictable results of such drastic action. The unknowable and unpredictable, could be equally upending, such as spontaneous atmospheric combustion, a displacement of universal gravity, and even a change of rotation in the galaxies.
On the other hand, if I did try it, and I absolutely aced it, maybe, just maybe, I could have a successful Instagram channel.
DO IT FOR THE 'GRAM, BABY!!!

SpinZoneYou’re going to have to define "twerked" cause I'm not googling it.
This isn’t my first day here.

Patrick-SP2022I was looking forward to seeing the number of "yes" votes.

parabellumThe absence of "Yes" on the poll means that those members would have to speak up.

71 TRUCKAbout 10 years ago my wife and I were at the club we are members at shooting our monthly IDPA match.
On a stage while running from one area of cover to another my body started moving faster than my feet, and well of course I fell bouncing several times before coming to a stop, does this count.

Everyone including myself was laughing so hard the RSO stopped the course of fire to reset the stage instead of me getting up and continuing.
On a side note our squad RSO was impressed with the fact that the muzzle of my gun not only stayed pointed down range but also stayed pointed at the berm the entire time.

^^^This.
I live in The Frozen Tundra, AKA The Great White North. For several months every year, the thermometer suffers from shrinkage (a common theme among residents as well, but that's another story).
Under these circumstances, water in it's natural habitat assumes the least desirable of it's three possible states. Note well that I said "In it's natural habitat". This treacherous third state is actually useful when packaged in small cubes and surrounded by liquid manufactured from fermented grains.
In addition to said undesirable state, water can be, and indeed often is, concealed by a powdered version of said state.
This devious combination often results in a variety of locomotion referred to colloquially as "A Hog On Ice" which is easily confused with "twerking" if my understanding of current jargon is accurate.
Given those circumstances, I shamefully admit I am guilty.

Patrick-SP2022From Chat GPT with the following prompt.
In the voice of Dr Seuss, write a rhyming paragraph around the phrase "I do not twerk."
quote:
I do not twerk, I will not shake,
Not on the floor or in a lake!
Not in a club, not on the street,
My dancing hips stay calm and neat.
They wiggle not, they never jerk—
Oh no, oh no, I do not twerk!
And from Copilot:
quote:
In a valley of vim where the Whizzle-Whumps lurk,
I stood tall and declared, “I do not twerk!”
Not on Tuesdays in Tuftville, not under the moon,
Not while juggling Jiggleberries with a big silver spoon.
The creatures all gasped, every Snuzzle and Smirk—
But I smiled as I said it, “I simply don’t twerk!”
