Another good shoot at McDonald’s
“An armed father is being hailed as a hero after he shot dead a masked gunman who opened fire at a McDonald's in Alabama over the weekend.

The Birmingham store's manager had been unlocking the door so that the father and his two teenage sons could leave around 10.45pm on Saturday when the gunman suddenly burst inside.

Two witnesses said they heard more than a dozen shots as the gunman opened fire on the restaurant.

But the father was also carrying a weapon and was able to quickly return fire. He struck the shooter, who later died from his injuries…”

Well done, dad.

Sadly the father and son were also hit, but it appears they should be ok.

Glad the father and son are going to be okay. Also glad the perp is no longer a threat to society.

And yet another reason that the fascist "antifa" and other SJW commies don't try to pull their crap in Alabama.

Those of us who carry for these situations have to know that getting shot back is a chance one takes.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

"'Things like this are difficult for both families. The gentleman who unfortunately lost his life , the teenage boy who is in the hospital recovering from his injuries and the father who is also recovering from his injuries,' said Birmingham Sgt Bryan Shelton.

'It's not easy being a father and watching your child get injured, get hurt like that. It's a really heart-wrenching experience.'

'Right now it appears the victim made a decision that cost his life and the father made a decision that preserved his and children's lives.

Interesting mindset, Sgt. Sheldon.

Agreed. The man killed was not a "victim", but a "perpetrator", and it was not "unfortunate" that he lost his life--that was the result of a decision that HE made.

This is mean of me to say, but I am not coming to the aid of any McDonald's workers. I am glad he saved their lives, but I am not risking mine for anyone that is not related to me. I am no hero and I am not afraid to say it. I would have ran as fast as I could out the door the second the guy barged in.

Someone recently sat down and talked to me in a local restaurant. The man was telling me about carrying a pistol somewhere recently cause you never know what's going to happen.
I ask him if he had it on him as we talked , he said no.
I told him, its a good thing I decided not to shoot you .
