911 screw ups
In our age range, this could be something as simple as a urinary tract infection. He needs medical evaluation, in my opinion. Unfortunately EMT's are helpless if he declines being taken to an ED.
This happened recently to a good friend. Without a wife, who knows what might have happened?

Could be a number of different things but unfortunately if he is capable of refusing by answering all questions appropriately, he is able to refuse regardless of what's going on. Unless the PD or an MD decide he needs an involuntary hold and those are only under specific circumstances.

If he wants to go to the hospital however, the ambulance crew is obligated to take him.

Unfortunately it's hard to tell exactly what's going on through a few forum posts, best case scenario is if someone local is able to check on him.

If someone is and isn't sure exactly what to do as far as checking if he's okay or requesting emergency help, I'm more than willing to assist via phone.

I hope he got the help he needs. I’m kind of concerned about him. 3 days without posting.
