CFL hit by Tornado lots of damage member check in request
V-tail, myself, tleddy, and several others in the area, tornado hit very close by, several homes collapsed, lots of damage. This two story home collapsed 90% and the occupants had sheltered in the only part that is standing and survived, remarkable.
Semi was turned over as well, driver ok, lots of damage the hardest hit area has lots of large homes

Wow, that is pretty crazy. I knew tornadoes are a possibility in Florida but I never really gave them much mind, as we have been very fortunate for a long time. That is a scary thing to deal with and am glad you guys are ok. We just had a tornado warning in my location but haven't seen much fortunately. For a tornado, it looks like a hurricane went through the town. I can't imagine how people in the mid-west deal with them.

I'm glad you're okay, HRK. I hope we hear from V-Tail, tleddy and the others soon.

Pretty quiet in the V-Tail neighborhood.
Wondering, is there a website that shows the tornado track(s)? If so, can somebody post the URL?

North and east of us. We are in the Forest City area, near the Altamonte Springs / Apopka border. Costco is the prominent land mark near us.

The tornado actually hit the TV station. Here is the link to the TV station. The weatherman is pretty jacked up.
