My work had me out front of the main building, blowing the leaves off the sidewalk this morning. A family was walking in as a military jet banked low overhead. I often tell visitors that their roar is "the sound of freedom". This family had a son about 10 yrs old, and one maybe 17. I pointed out the Jet as it turned and the young guy said " COOL". The mother without breaking stride said ..."we're from Israel, we hear this all the time"
Dad glanced up and said "that's an F16"
She then said "we are praying your President Trump will stop the war, we are tired of war".
"Today is the 7th of October, 2 years today since they slaughtered our people"

What a difference in the meaning of freedom as seen from a different perspective. .................. drill sgt

What is a powerful moment. I will keep my peace out of respect for the righteous sword of justice.

Sadly, I don't think they will ever get rest/peace in Israel, as more of the world goes against it. The Bible tells of a coming time where all will go against her. I couldn't imagine always living with the threat of war but our country is not much better and getting worse.

The world political climate is getting worse as well and siding with Palestine and sadly hamas. While one country gives away it's land for peace, the other only wants total dominion and will stop at nothing to get it.

^^^^^ I get it. Many people are all pessimistic with doom and gloom because they have been at each other’s throat forever, and the Bible already foretold of what is to come. But still, how about give this deal at least a chance, instead of shooting it down before it even starts? Moreover, if you strictly trust the Bible, then you should be happy that Judgment Day is coming. I know I am.
