Someone that is almost as bad I doubt they actually expected him to get through.

The plan is to put up someone that is so bad that even your own party will vote against them, then nominate an anti-gunner but not as extreme as the last one until you get someone in.

Despite the all the conspiracy theories, ATF will not have a confirmed Director. They will continue with an acting director, as they have had for many, many years. In short, the same guy that’s in charge now, will continue.

Saw a clip Psaki this evening saying they would be looking to offer Chipman another suitable position in the administration. Merrick Garland did not go away for long. Apparently he's not going away.
