Feel free to ask AI.

Son put some trail cameras out a few days ago which took mugshots of the usual suspects: a doe, a button buck, an opossum, a porcupine, a raccoon, a bat, a squirrel, a fox, and this:

The photo was taken in a small rich connifer swamp in Northern Michigan. The ferns are about 2' tall and the camera is about 4' up.

My 15yo son wants to believe it's a bear cub.

We have those up here and beavers as well. What we are not supposed to have is wild hogs, but that's what it looks like to me. Never seen one up here and never heard anyone up here mention them. It would explain why our dog has been unusually alert this year.

We'll see want the cameras pick up the next few days.

Definitely a well-fed chupacabra.

Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here.

Although sometimes distracting, there is often a certain entertainment value to this easy standard.

And there isn’t a grinch looking Bigfoot pointing at the camera in this shot?
