When I right click on the two posters avatars above you and select "view image" I think it shows their actual size.
Then you can try yours.

right click
select open in new (tab or window)
size is 1430/1712

Once it's open in a new window/tab
right click it,
select search google for image
when it comes up select the size SMALL

I found it 240x287

I right click again View image info, and then click the General tab and look at the __X__

nor the relevance to my avatar size? It looks the same size as all the others on multiple screens at this end.

The forum BBS program sorcery stuff shrinks all avatar pics down to size. It doesn't mean that is the size of your pic.
Somehow the processing of that gets passed on to the viewer of the thread and slow comps have a second or more flash as this sorcery happens.

So a small avatar pic takes as long to load as a huge HD pic on a slow connection.

I sent you an email with the image cropped and re-sized to 60x60. If you choose to, you can upload that to your preferred server and not have to worry about resizing issues.

The only reason I mentioned it was that morning I opened a thread you'd posted in and I got the full screen flash before it shrunk down and it literally startled me so much that I jumped.

thank you one & all;

I have stepped away from the old avatar now
and will be seeking some further vision;

Due to ever ongoing past issues with all the ones I've used, I modified my life to not use any of the photo sites.

I'm sure there will be ample new avatar choices on down the line a bit....
