ArtieSKeurig Parts
I have a 1st Gen Keurig that has served well. The upper and lower check valves have finally failed.
I have Googled extensively to find sources, and have pretty much come up dry.
Has anyone located a source of repair parts for these machines, or do folks just trash them and get a new one?

smschulzCan you call Keurig?
When my Capresso bean grinder broke a knob, called them (Capresso not Keurig but the idea was to call the company) and bought a couple pretty cheap.

PASigJust buy a new one these things are almost a disposable item nowadays. If I get three or four years out of one, I’m happy.
Sign up and get a discount code or catch a sale and buy one of the basic models, that’s all you need. You should be able to get one for less than $75.
You’ll spend more than that if you can even find the parts

Keurig has an entire parts section, but they only stock the useable plastic parts on the outside (covers, reservoirs, drip plates, carafes, etc.) they don't stock the interior operational parts. I will give that a try, though, just in case I get someone helpful.

PatenHow have the valves failed? Have you disassembled them and cleaned them to see if that helps?
I have always had the single cup Keurigs with no reservoir, basically the cheapest ones, and just bought a new one if it ever failed. Your question made me search YouTube for "Keurig Check Valve" and some videos came up about cleaning the valves.

HRKCheck Ebay, I just put in Keurig Check Valve, this came up, not sure if it fits your model, but there are several options.

Yeah, I ran into that with my bean grinder too but rolled the dice and gave them a call.
It can't hurt.

Timdogg6Call them and ask for a replacement or a massive discount on a new one, they replaced about 3 of them for me in the past 10 or so years.

That worked for me once after I had one break after 3 or so years. They gave me a 50% off coupon code IIRC

Rey HRHI called for a Keurig that stopped working. They said it was a known issue but I was one month past the warranty period and they offered me a 50% off coupon.
I asked to better understand the situation. If I was lucky enough for my Keurig to go tits up one month earlier they would send me a free relacement but since it crapped out one month past the warranty period for a known issue, I get to pay 50% for a working replacement?
They sent me a new one.

Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual."
