Gustofer, have you noticed the copter with the huge probe flying fast and low in a grid pattern in your area?
Strange, supposedly critical mineral mapping? Some kind of huge magnet? Fish and game? Weird?

Today? Nope. I've heard what seems like increased helo traffic the past few days, but haven't looked up.

I know USGS was doing some stuff last year. If today, perhaps a state or fed helo out looking for fires after yesterday's lightning strikes.

Not sure.

We've had one around us for the past week flying around with a large ring underneath it. From what I understand they are mapping underground aquifers.
