So I wanna paint the Corvette in the spring and after being fussed at by the missus for painting an RX 7 in the garage I pulled the trigger on this!

I had to go to a warehouse to paint the bumper for my Nissan
and the wheels for a friend's car.

I have a Jeep and a 1973 F100 that friends wants painted this spring.

Ugh. I'm gonna be busy. I'll prime and shoot them but they can do all the cutting and buffing.

I want to toss sparkles in my clear for the corvette...

Once the booth is up, you'll make plenty of "friends" !

Sparkles in the Vette, going for a 70's 80's theme on the paint? A little Corvette Summer?

IIRC you have a 79 or 78 C3? two tone? 78 two tone was the Silver Anniversary model, and of course the famous black over silver Pace Car.

Some of the newer silvers have a nice metallic look and would look good on the Corvette...

It's a Silver Anniversary so it's going back silver with a few .04 sparkles tossed into the clear.
Nothing too radical.

C3's are my favorite, a little bling won't hurt at all. Mine was an 82, last of the C3 line.

I have a friend who paints boats. He painted the engine cowlings on my boss's 2 300 Yamahas. He has a spray booth he rigged up but this would be awesome for him. Shoot, I'd like it for detailing my boss's Intrepid.

Agreed, the Midget is still in limbo with which way I want to go, paint or wrap.
Either way, one of these would be awesome.

Very nice job on the Mazda and pieces.

I had a '78 Silver Anniv. years ago and the paint job quotes I received when I needed it done was astounding. I wish I could have done it myself.

Keep us posted with your progress.

Those cars are lookers, it's a damn shame the EPA ushered in the horsepower dark age near the dawn of the C3.

The inflatable paint booth is seriously cool. I had no idea such a thing existed.

I might even fit in my garage.

I've seen where people will use them in a large garage, hanger or warehouse.

Man, I bet that will be hot as the dickens in the summer!!

I wonder how durable those are? Would be nice for working on the truck in the winter since it does not fit in my garage.

Makes sense to me. I don't need a permanent spray booth, one of these would be much easier than jury-rigging something, and looking at the prices probably cheaper to boot.

I wonder how they do when it's windy. Also want to make sure all of the paint is fully cured before letting the air out and rolling it up.......

Some people will build a temporary frame in them.
