Companies get scored on ESG. More woke = better score. Blackrock has been pushing it big time. Lots of theories out there about what is behind all this, but somehow there are powerful forces pushing companies to conform. Boards of Directors are being pressured to institute all manner of woke leftism.

You'll see the term "stakeholders" used rather than "stockholders", which is the indication someone is trying to force a company to consider other than the interests of the owners.

Keeping stock prices up and access to credit open are critical to corporate survival. ESG score is a factor.

What about biological women with facial hair? Don't think I want to see an add with that, either. You'd think that would also help to expand their customer base.

Also, those mastectomy scars look like they were drawn on with a crayon or done by a back alley surgeon.

I replaced my 17 year old Braun last year, so if I am around then, will consider another brand. If I can remember or if I am still here at 80+

That's the thought that came to my mind. Whatever incremental ESG score they gain doesn't seem to be worth it even if there is no backlash.

The ad is just plain weird to me.
