HRKNPS is now allowing visitors into the Lincoln Memorial Undercroft
History is cool, especially when something comes up like this, the NPS is opening up the Undercroft, an area under the Lincoln Memorial, it contains the pillars or piles driven into the soil to support the memorial as it's in what was a swampy area.

redstoneWhen national treasure 2 came out Mt. Vernon started doing tours of the underneath. Unfortunately there were no secret tunnels. But it was still fun and my girls loved it.

ChicagoSigManI think it's really a great thing how the Trump Administration is restoring DC's monuments and parks back to their former glory and enhancing the visitor experience. Pride in America and our history has been in rapid decline thanks to the left. Trump's efforts will help reverse that trend.
