Banned for showing his ass
| When I was growing up we did not have locking gas caps nor anti-siphon devices. We also left our vehicles unlocked with the keys in the ignition.
Never had a problem back in those days ... actually just once with some dog peeing on the tires of my dad's 1959 Plymouth. That stopped when dad took the electric fence handle and hooked it to the door handle. Heard the yelp and the peeing on the tires stopped. |

They tried that on my 1994 Volvo. No joy. I was later told that there's a check valve in the tank that will not permit fuel to flow unless the fuel pump in the tank is running.

Gotta get the catalytic first, the sparks from the cutoff plus the fumes are a bad combo. That's a "you do it once" kind of rookie mistake.

| Phoenix is having a problem with the catalytic converter thefts. Due to the cost of gas these days, they started drilling holes and draining it while they're under there.
Phoenix weather just hit the low 100's, still in the 90's at night.
Can't wait for the youtube of the dude that hits that hot tank with a hot drill bit! |
