As far as forums go this place is....
-a wealth of shared information
-a place where somebody or another is firing off good karma physical or otherwise on a daily basis
-a gun guys retreat not a SIG guys retreat
-a place where I have experienced the newest members all the way to the top have others backs
-a place where there is little latitude to fuck up but generally accepting of an apology and allowing a place back into the pack
-a place where I have seen both classically educated and real world hard workers provide insights and practical advice.
-a place where your prayers may not be answered but your requests for them are.....even from those who may not necessarily believe
-a place where I take from on a regular basis yet provide back so little......

A place I just wanted to say thank you to all the way from bottom to top instead of just taking from this day.

As always, TAKE CARE, shoot safe.
Chris

Very nicely said. It reminds me that I get more from this forum than I give, and I need to remedy that.

I started here when a friend asked if I was interested in buying his 226 Navy back in 2004. I started trolling (just reading) in the pistol forum for the next several years. I didnt bother with an account because I didnt feel like I had anything to contribute.
After several years, I finally caved and joined. I truly love and care for this forum and I am deeply thankful for it.

Couldn't agree more Chris. An almost required reading for me every couple of days. Good folks with a diversity of opinions, always a smile or good laugh. And Cats, who'd have thought! I'm an equal opportunity animal lover and enjoy all the animal stories and photos.

Thank you to all who make this a place to call home!

These are my thoughts as well. A wonderful place to listen, learn and become a better person. Great wisdom here.

“Our actions may be impeded...
But there can be no impeding our intentions or our dispositions. Because we can accommodate and adapt. The mind adapts and converts to its own purposes the obstacle to our acting.

The impeding to action advances action.

What stands in the way becomes the way.”

Agree wholeheartedly!! I am typically on here each morning and evening. My wife really wondered about me until I explained this site is MUCH more than all gun stuff.
