Time for a new mattress. Wife is thinking a Helix. I have no idea. Not sure how much she does either.
A mattress is about the last thing I would like to be shopping for. Mad

Buy it from Costco. Mattress stores are a racket like glasses. Spend as little as possible and expect it to last three years.

Three years? The one I have now has lasted nineteen years. What are you sleeping on? A burlap sack stuffed with hay?

I suppose if you spend as little as possible a lifespan of three years may be a reasonable expectation.

Our current mattress is eight years old and just started becoming a problem for my wife about a year ago. We paid about $700 for it. The Therapedic we just ordered was somewhere between $1,000 and $1,200. It's a model with enhanced back support for my wife.

Our bed is a California King.
