Cool! CoolAnother member that is into Jim Green footwear.

I have so far: Fudge African Ranger, Walnut Numzaan, Bronco 719 and Fudge Rugged African Trooper.

Great hard-wearing footwear for not a ton of money. My foot is normally a D width and some of their lasts are a bit wide for me but better a roomy fit than too tight.

Only quick pic I have is of the Walnut veg tan Numzaans when new. They are beat up a bit now but holding up great.

My 17 year old daughter’s new boots just came and they seem well made:

My teen, The Tomminator, has had a pair of those Doc Martin AirWaiz (minus the embroidery) for 3 years now. Seem pretty sturdy.

I used to wear Bates for years, standing for hours a day as a cop was enough to prove they are good boots.

Before those I wore Danners. Both brands make good boots.

I'm pretty happy with my Lowa and Garmont boots that I use at the range. One for cold/wet/muddy days, and the other for hotter days.
I've worn a variety of upland-style moc boots for lifestyle, considering getting a pair of Bluntstones.

They look a lot like my Danners and will go great with the Epiphone Les Paul she wants for Christmas. It looks just like my Gibson Custom Shop '57 Gold Top, but it's PINK!

Only if you wear skimpy shorts.

Actually looking for my next set of work boots and looking at maybe a higher quality more expensive boot. Had Thorogood, Bates, and currently my cheaper LAPG. Have Danner hunting boots but have only gotten to wear them twice Roll Eyes I will say they are extremely comfortable and were so out of the box. Guess I’m looking more lightweight, durable , combat boot that can hold a decent shine and be comfortable. Probably different class but the OP boots minus the laces look like they’d fit the bill, emphasis on comfort.

Another Lowa fan here, latest purchase and very happy. No structured toe though. Hoffman, White, Wesco, Danner and Redwings have all been given a shot over the years. I treat them all with Obenauf's. Bit of a boot whore. Never tried the Doc's line.

The consensus on Doc's seems to be that the quality was either waaay down from the past or they are a shadow of what they used to be... I'm pleased with Solovair..

I do wonder, among all the comnents about docs, how many people actually care for the boots. If it's leather, and you never oil it, then complain that the boots suck and don't last, well...

Arc.
