We were put under a water boil notice yesterday for giardiasis. Some research shows that this is a parasite and not bacteria. I have a whole home water filtration system with a post filter of .35 micron which should take out this parasite, but I want to be sure before I carry on drinking it without boiling.

Anybody know of a home test kit that will test for this? I see pet stool test kits. Could I use one of those?
