You really should care about their politics since a portion of the money you send them goes out to groups and politicians that fight to take away your rights. Doing business with AARP, PayPal, Ebay, Levi's and many others is the equivalent of funding your own destruction. Sometimes you have no other choice but to deal with certain organizations that are at odds with your morals and values but when there are alternatives to AARP and others why not use them.
