Bought a Vitamix back in the day through QVC I believe when they had some sort of sale.

Besides the price, it's a great blender.

I'm dreaming of a new blender
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the whirling blades glisten
And children listen
To hear razor blades revolving 10,000 rpm

Forever ago, you could buy personal-sized bodies for a regular blender - just a plastic jar that screwed to the existing carafe's bottom. It was no more likely to leak than the original carafe/bottom combo, using the original bottom/blade/gasket setup.

I just looked online and could not find anything like it now.

I believe KitchenAid has them…or at least they used to.
