I've never held a Glock in my life. If you asked me to field strip it, I'd have to watch a youtube video... which is exactly the kind of prep work a professional would do if they had to use one in a presentation.

Years ago, a friend of mine was present when an ATF agent came in to a silencer manufacturer's business for an FFL inspection. He was towing a trainee. My friend told me that the ATF agent picked up a Ruger 22/45 that was lying on a desk and told the trainee that it was called "22/45" because it could shoot both .22 LR and .45 ACP.
Well I have trouble disassembling Glocks myself. I haven't spent much time on them tough. I have real trouble pulling that bar down without my fingers sliding off.
For some reason I don't feel a lot of sympathy for the guy.
On a side note, could they possibly have gotten a dumber "reporter"? I paraphrase " I went to Catholic school and didn't know there was a patron saint for drug dealers".
_______________________________ Do the interns get Glocks?
Put me in the incompetent, clownish gun owners club. I have owned a Glock G20 for 20 years and removed the slide at least 100 times. There are times that I struggle with it. Arthritic old thumbs and fingers do not make it an easy task.
I have never disassembled a Glock but I’m betting I could do it. What struck me as odd is him having trouble putting the slide back on the frame. I also happen to own a 22/45 Ruger. I’d probably give the ATF agent a break if he had trouble breaking down and reassembling that pistol. Unfortunately mine is only chambered in 22 LR. I guess I got cheated.
A quick google search finds ATF special agents are issued the Glock 19M as their primary duty weapon. Guy is probably an insider who was given the media exposure to advance his career.

I wonder if the “top man” forgot to drop the empty magazine. It looked like the slide was binding at the mag trying to come off and going back on. He’s a dumb ass for sure, because at a minimum doing live TV you should dry run rehearse your part so you don’t come off looking like a dumb ass on live TV. You can see him panicking, because he looked like a dumb ass.

The full video of this is exceptional propaganda. The 249 just sitting there. That’s a 10-11k piece if only semi auto. about Let’s talk about the gun running the ATF did that left a border agent dead at the hands of a cartel member? That’s proven fact. Fuck all 3 of these clowns
