I feel for you. I am less than impressed by our Frigidaire refrigerator with the problems it has had. I don't know if it is all manufacturers or what but they seem cheaply made. We bought a new side by side 25cu. ft.unit a few years ago and after the warranty expired we had a few issues with frozen items in the fridge part and thankfully/eventually it worked itself out.

Then where the first drawer sits on the pins on the side of the unit, the area around the pins, (the side panel/fridge walls), started cracking. Eventually it cracked completely and we no longer have 3 drawers. The unit is only 3.5 years old and we only put a couple gallons of milk/juice on that drawer but the crappy construction broke apart. I should have bought the Whirlpool unit I wanted as the last one we had lasted 17 years until it started to fail.

(I hesitate to post this for fear of invoking a jinx.)

My Frigidaire was bought in 1984 and as far as I can tell is still working perfectly.
