My GF's mom has passed at 99YO.

My GF's mom has passed at 99YO.
She was active until suffering an MI a couple of weeks ago. She died in her sleep last night in a nursing home. The last thing she said to the GF was, "You know, I've always done just as I pleased. I never let you get in the way of that very much". She squeezed every drop of juice out of the orange of life.

Here we were when she was 95YO.

I'm sorry to hear that. Looks like she was doing good at 95. I lost mine when she was 95.

I guess 99 isn't so bad. My mother is now 98. Don't know how much longer she can last. Sorry to hear of your loss.

Think of what see saw in 99 years. The Depression, WWII, The changes in the 50s and 60s. The moon landing.
