I remember seeing a post last year on the topic. But I thought maybe we have a seller or a good referral. I need some batteries.
Any one got a good resource for quality batteries with reasonable shipping or is best to just buy at home depot or similar.

Thanks guys

In terms of value, I've gone to Amazon.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." I order those a dozen at a time, usually with something else. Good batteries, life seems comparable to the Surefire's. It's all I buy anymore in CR123

One of our ski patrol bosses thought AED batteries should be replaced annually. I was tasked with doing that one year and lo and behold they took 10xCR123 each. "What should I do with the old batteries, boss?" "Recycle them." I'm still "recycling" some of the 30 I got from that score.

That said, anywhere from $18-20/dozen for name brand is a real good deal. Fenix house brand is about $17.50 mailed before the discount mentioned by an earlier poster.

The Titanium batteries from Battery Junction are the best thing going for CR123A. Tests on Candlepowerforum compared them favorably to the name brands for runtime, and you simply can't beat the price.

"The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people."
"Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy."
"I did," said Ford, "it is."
"So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?"
"It honestly doesn't occur to them. They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates the government they want."
"You mean they actually vote for the lizards."
"Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course."
"But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?"
"Because if they didn't vote for a lizard, then the wrong lizard might get in."

I usually buy them by the box at the local gunshop. I only use Surefire.

All lithium batteries are not created equal, and I don't want chinese batteries in my flashlights or equipment.

Primary Arms has good sales throughout the year.

Tip: Buy made in USA batteries
Tip 2: there is only one USA factory. They make the batteries for ALL of the USA branded batteries, so Panasonic, Surefire, Streamlight, Battery station, all the same battery

Save money and buy the RCR123's at BatteryJunction. I have had great results with the rechargables. I used to go through a battery a day in my little high powered pocket light for service work, now a recharge over night and I am good for the next day. Tenergy's lifespan is great too.
