The tripods on those guns are permanently attached to the guns to meet ATF rules on pistols (ATF rule at the time). They all also came with wooden crates, scaled down ammo cans, and cloth belts. They are oh so fun to shoot!
Tippman also did a Gatling back then, I saw one on display at J&G Guns, beautiful workmanship, no tool marks at all, the salesman told me they disassembled one and the workmanship was just as flawless inside as it was out.

whanson_wiPeople drop a lot more money than that on snowmobiles, four-wheelers, and boats, and for no better reason than "fun". That looks like a hoot! I'd only go through a couple magazines, though, and the Scrooge in my brain would be grumbling about the consumables.
