I hadn’t been to my LGS in a while.

I was disappointed that they only had 1 Sig in stock. It was probably 90% Glocks and I’m not a Glock fan.

I had an itch growing for another pistol and I figured I’d go in and see what they had. Maybe I 229 in 9mm was on my mind. Nope nothing but a Macro Sig which I wasn’t looking for.

I asked a new counter guy what happened to the Sigs and he spouts that Sigs didn’t sell anymore because they were having issues. I thought that was BS. The 320 is only one model.

They had always carried the classic Sig models. Not now. No 229, 220, 226 nothing.

I left very disappointed with my LGS today…

I’d be curious to know if others have noticed this happening at their LGS. I haven’t been in a while so I’m not much help.

A small local place I go to has a good assortment of firearms in both metal and plastic.

Thanks to the roster the only new P226/229 Sigs we’ve been able to get here have the LCI’s and MDS’s. The P220 didn’t have that stuff, but it looks like Sig is discontinuing the base model and focusing on the higher end models.

I recently bought a new P220 (a CA approved one that doesn’t have the CA stuff but had to get the CA DOJ blessing) from Buds and the born on date sticker was 2023.

Op. Just curious, was the shop a Turners?

All the LGSs I frequent tend to have a lot of all the SIG models and usually some cool old ones too. One has a really sweet P220ST I keep going back to look at, but I so don't need it. I have scored some smoking deals on old SIGs, such that I kind of feel bad for whomever sold or traded it to the LGS. For what I stole it for, they must have gotten really hosed.

No. It was a family owned shop that I have bought all my Sigs from over the years.

I’m up in the SF Bay Area.

Probably just a Commiefornia Roster bullshit thing! Plenty of SIGs available at every LGS I've visited recently

Yeah seeing Rogues recent post about the 2 P228’s he got, I’m sure there’s lots of metal SIG’s available in the free parts of the country.
