"DeepFake" video - Steve Buscemi & Jennifer Lawrence Mashup
Edited to add: nothing happens in the video, it's just a demo of the tech and it's deceptive powers.

And you had obviously set out to use it so wisely. Wink

I have no idea what that was about. None. I'm a lightweight when it comes to Hollyweird personalities. Frown

Applied to politics, you can now produce video snippets that purport to show anyone doing or saying literally anything. We will not be able to discern truth in any situation, a scary proposition.

It is long past time for a Convention of States. The Founding Fathers gave us this tool to fix an out of control government and we need to use it.

I just happened to watch 30 seconds of Clown News Network this morning and I caught a teaser for an upcoming "Deep Fake" video segment (ironic huh?) and they were showing various videos of Obama the fraud.

Since it was CNN, my initial reaction was that they are going to start selling this in order to provide cover for their friends that are caught on video in an unfavorable situation. Basically, the same nonsense as "my account was hacked".

I don't know, maybe I'm just going over the deep end and I should seek help.

This has been the case ever since Forrest Gump showed his car accident scarred butt to President Nixon.

It's definitely going to be interesting to watch what happens with this technology. It was once so expensive and now is available to just about everyone.
