parabellumFile this under 'That's what you get'. Ree Drummond's foster son "Jamar" arrested on drug and assault charges
https://www.foxnews.com/entert...drug-assault-chargesYeah, my wife shook her head at my cynical take on this, telling me that the guy probably had some demons. I told her yeah, probably so, but he had many, many advantages as the foster son of a probably pretty well-off TV celebrity and he shit all over them.
Jackass sleeping shirtless on a park bench- with an active warrant- and had a couple of grams of meth and a pipe when he assaulted a police officer.
I'm telling you- this kind of thing appeals to my cynical nature. The gal has an ideal family, living an ideal American life on a cattle ranch in Oklahoma, and she takes in this slug who brings the ghetto and shoves it in her face.
That's what you get. She'll never live it down. It's too bad, because she really does seem like a nice lady.
Right, right. Smile, Jamar

1s1kI read about it a while ago so don’t hold me to exact time frames. Apparently the guy had serious issues at home and got kicked out with no where to go. He was friends with one of the boys in the Drummond family so the Drummonds let him move in with them so he wouldn’t miss his senior year of high school. It’s not like some of the articles suggest that he was an infant when the Drummonds got him.
The Drummonds are rich rich and the amount of land they own is hard to even believe.
Total Acreage: ~433,000 acres (about 675 square miles).

229DAKYou can take him out of the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of him.
This sounds kinda similar to the story McCall tells Nicolai in film
The Equalizer.

architectI think this goes to show that patterns of behavior, outlook on life, respect for your fellows, etc. is learned very early in life, and is very resistant to subsequent adjustment. Old habits die hard if you will. This dude was ruined before he had a chance to learn the right way to live.
A dog can be "rescued," a ruined human not so easily.

doublesharpKentucky's ex-governor, Matt Bevin, has been destroyed by media and democrat activist courts for having the audacity to adopt a black child. It's all political and Matt was jailed for contempt. 60 day sentence, Bevin was released after 13 days but his case is far from over. Sad situation all around.
