Yes but many broad spectrum broadleaf herbicides contain chemicals with residuals like Dicambia, and/or they are harmful to wildlife and aquatic life. That is why we always used 24D for simple broadleaf control. We controlled broadleafs in 350 acres of hayfields very effectively with 24D or other herbicides containing 24D. You have to be careful with all the broadleaf herbicides because they will drift if sprayed in too fine a droplet or on a windy day. You don't want to end up paying for your neighbor's tomato plants.
