Far right, they call ‘em…

“Sweden's anti-immigration party has made gains in the country's general election but fell short of becoming the largest group in the new parliament after a campaign dominated by fears over asylum and integration.

An early exit poll showed the Sweden Democrats (SD), who have called for a referendum on EU membership, on 19.2 per cent of the vote, an increase of more than six percentage points since 2014 but below what some surveys had predicted.

The centre-left Social Democrats, who currently govern with the Greens, remained the largest party but were set to record their lowest share since 1908 on just over 26 per cent…”

Too bad they didn't get more support. The social democrats pretended to be concerned about immigration.

I always get a laugh, then a head-shake when I look up various political parties in Scandinavia. They all have a Youth Wing, a Women's Wing, a Religious Wing, aLGBTQ wing...indoctrination and ID politics much, good grief.... Roll Eyes

He has tried, but did he achieve it? We all are trying to achieve something once in a while, but not always successfully. "Trying" is not a proof of performance.

No nazi is far right, all nazis are socialist, it is right in their name Nationalist Socialists.

The idea that nazis are right-wing comes from the communists. The communist don't want their brand of socialism tainted with nazis brand of socialism.

Communists and nazis are nearly the same thing, in the US this means that the democrats and the nazis are nearly the same thing.

Another unknown fact is that the communists have murdered far more people than the nazis.

Absolutely.
And the names by themselves are largely meaningless out of context. I have often been amused when reading about the implosion of the Evil Empire (the Soviet Union) to see the hard line Communists in the military, the KGB, the nomenklatura, et al., who opposed the changes referred to as the “right.” I guess if you’re far enough left, it’s like traveling around the world and one ends up on the right.

But in any event Nazis were socialists just as were/are the Communists. What matters is what they want and how they act, not what names they attach to themselves. One of my pet peeves today is to call the American left “liberals” or “progressives.”

“ Enlightenment is man’s emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one’s own understanding without another’s guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one’s own mind without another’s guidance.”

FWIW the description of the party as Neo-Nazi was done by the press not the party itself. You would do well to look at descriptions made by MSM and opposing parties with skepticism.
What the SD has done, and is openly claiming to do, is to remove racists and fanatics from its ranks. Some of those may indeed openly self describe as Nazi. However this is a problem with most political parties, they attract a fringe element that feels a party seems closest to their beliefs. Of course nobody describes the leftist parties as the parties of Stalin or as neo communist butcher parties.

Mine too. Communists can't be progressive because everything they do interferes with the advancement of mankind.

How long before Bono would come buzzing around, drawn to this like a bluebottle fly to a pile of shit. But I was very impressed to learn that he is personally taking in 200 illegal immigrants, just a random bunch, that he will house in his mansions. Roll Eyes

This video popped up in my FB feed the other day. It is a 10 minute video, but overall I thought it did a pretty good job of explaining the different forms of government (including communism, socialism, nazism...).
