In Milwaukee's product lines, yes.

I am a big fan of Ridgid because they have a lifetime battery replacement policy. I have noticed that the tools that are included in the super cheap combo kits are different models than what is sold separately. And if you look closely there will be differences in capacity or features and sometimes just in overall finish or materials.

Brush-less and Fuel are NOT the same. The difference is the motor itself. "The FUEL will continue to be reserved for the high performance tools with the “POWERSTATE” brushless motor, as more of their cordless tools move to brushless it would appear they want to differentiate the various motor technology."

Fair enough, I guess now they make some compact brushless tools without the Fuel label.

In years past, the only Milwaukee brushless tools were the Fuel ones.

From that link, it sounds like all the brushless tools are labeled "Powerstate," even the non-Fuel ones.

I have a non-fuel drill, everything else fuel. Are the fuel tools better, sure, am I good enough or use them enough to really get the fuel benefit, definitely not! LOL . But I look cool (in my mind at least) when I use them. The one thing I made sure to get Fuel wise was the impact and driver just because those will be used the most, and why not.

No complaints on my Milwaukee tools, all are 18v and as small as the batteries are, they last.

Most of my work tools are DeWalt, and I love them also. My happiest moment was when I found that my 20v tools could use the 60v batteries!! They last forever in 20v tools, I vow to never buy a 20v battery again as I use mine hard and the worst thing is to have a dead battery on the job.
