I don't know the answer but I'd recommend changing your oil every 3,000 miles as cheap insurance.

Two trains left Chicago?

Can you blame them?

What I want to know is why does soup heated in the microwave come out at 2 temperatures, lukewarm and lava?

I preheat my coffee cup before I brew. I've found two minutes gets roughly 7oz of water to a rolling boil. If the wife is having a coffee, two identical cups with similar volumes of water takes 3 minutes to achieve a rolling boil.

I'd say 50% more time for doubling the items to be heated is right. It's all very scientific.

There's a problem with that. The Shugart Method involves cooking the corn while it is firmly enclosed in the green housing, but there's no way, short of an MRI, to count the kernels unless the corn is totally naked.

I freeze my corn, shuck and all, three ears to a gallon freeze bag. When I cook them, I throw them frozen, bag and all in the microwave and nuke them for about 24 minutes. I open one corner of the bag and add 3-4 tablespoons of water for more steam to aid in cooking. The ears come out cooked perfectly.
