First she helped me check the air in the tires and top off the oil in the trusty GL1800.

Geared up (MOTGSOTT).

The Grotto Trail is an easy .5 mile hike off of the Nebo Scenic Loop near Payson, UT. The Road is worth the trip and the hike is worth the time, even if you're not there to ride the road.

Rode back to Payson and had a burger at the Daley Freez. Service was slow but the food was pretty edible.

I frickin' love this kid... she's always smiling.

Very cute!

Be careful under those waterfalls. I've seen many an injury from falling rocks. Including one on Kauai where the girl had to be airlift out.

Oh snap! I'm in Payson next week for a wedding. I may have to try out both the hike and hamburger joint! My brother has never tipped me off to the local treasures I guess.

By the way, I like the yellow!

All I can say is keep it up. The time goes too fast.

I never believed it before, but with an 18 year old now, I see how the time just flashes by. I still have some younger ones as well, but looking back it's over before you know it.

So soak up every last minute of childhood you can. Wink

I have a niece who worshipped the ground I walked on at age 8. She told her mom that she loved me “much more than Daddy”, and that she’d “even vote for Obama” if I wanted her to. She’s 16 now, and is pretty sure that I’m an idiot and an asshole.

Enjoy it while you can.

I couldn't say it better myself. My daughter and I took a number of rides as well, and I remember them very well...this thread was a nice reminder of those great times. But unfortunately they're in the past, and while we might try to sneak in one or two this summer when she's back from college, it's just not quite the same.
