I got 2 checks for $72.04 for my 2008 & 2012 Acuras. Surprised I got anything.

I've driven Honda's exclusively for the past 22 years and each one of my vehicles they've just replaced the defective air bags. I hadn't heard that there was a settlement check.

Nope.

They had a rep come to my house and replace 2 inflators, in my driveway.
I don't expect I'll get a check.

Still waiting for Takata and GM to replace the airbag on our 2007 Silverado (purchased new). Probably won't get anything since we sold it five years ago.

I've done the replacement twice in a 2008 Subaru Impreza. I hear they got it right the second time. Check?

I got letters at least five years ago notifying me I was eligible and sent them in not expecting anything.

No. I didn't even know that there was/were a settlement check.

I got a recall notice on my Subaru WRX earlier last year, and I had it done at the Subaru dealership that I used to use, until that last fiasco and the last oil change. The air bag install, they screwed up my footwell lighting and the air conditioning vents, when I returned the car for them fix, they fucked it up worse and had it for 13 days. After I got it back I fixed it.

When I had it back for the oil change, against my better judgment, they told me that I had another recall on the air bag, which I had just received the notice a couple of days before. The dealership asked me if I wanted to set up an appointment, I told them no, I'm going to take it to another dealer. Which there only 4 in the whole state of Kentucky.

So, do I get two checks?

No, but my airbags worked fine last October, so I figure we’re even.

My daughter's 2009 CRV got the replacement parts installed a few years ago at the dealer's. This is the first I've heard of a check.

$136 for the wife’s Infiniti showed up a few days ago. Took photos of the front and back and deposited it with the phone app.

I've had two cars with Takata airbags replaced under recalls. This is the first I've heard of a check.

Bags replaced on my Honda ........ never heard of any cash settlement. I will gladly take a check or 2. Pickle Rick.

I would just like GM to stop screwing around trying to avoid replacing the potentially faulty airbag in our 2008 suburban.

Class action lawsuits are hit or miss. Usually miss. Couple bucks, maybe $30.
One time my life insurance co. Was involved in a CAS. My son talked me into sending it in. About a year later I got a $1600 check in the mail. Seems the insurance co. Was selling the policy as a retirement benefit when interest was 10%.

Got my check for 2 airbags for $144 and change. I don't even own the cars anymore. 2 other guys at work got checks for cars they don't have anymore either.

Nope, my car had a airbag recall but I never got it fixed. Something came up the day it was scheduled and I ended up trading the car in two weeks later. I hope the dealership made the replacement before reselling the car.
