Some of us document our mileage for business because the car does both personal and business miles during the year.

Now is the time to check and write down the start of the year miles.

My wife and I have several vehicles so we note it for all of them.

The second thought here is to write it on the calendar - if you forget where that paper went with the numbers, you can always look at January and find them.

In most aspects, my understanding is that mileage is no longer a tax deduction.

My company changed its reimbursement aspect because of which
